Job Description:
POSITION: Maintenance Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintain production and quality by ensuring safe operation of injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment to meet our goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure reliability and operation of machinery and auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance on injection molding presses, robots, mixers/blenders, conveyors, decorating equipment and automation.
- Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; trouble shooting malfunctions.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes and hand and power tools
- Maintain equipment parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3:5 years injection molding experience
- Experience on injection molding machinery
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints
- Experience working on material handling systems. (conveyors, material loaders, mixers / blenders)
- Knowledge of lock out block out (OSHA xxxx)
